What's On My Tivo?

Actually, this isn't strictly my TiVo as it includes the Scientific Atlanta DVR that replaced my cable box and records in High Definition. The Tivo still grabs a few shows, but it's acting as a backup recorder for things that aren't broadcast in HD. It sure feels like a huge list of programs, but I get to skip reruns and commercials, so I can get through a lot of it pretty quickly.

MUST WATCH ASAP:
Arrested Development (FOX)
The Simpsons (FOX)
Family Guy (FOX)
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS)
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Comedy Central)
South Park (Comedy Central)

SAVED FOR VIEWING WITH FRIENDS:
The Office (NBC)
My Name is Earl (NBC)
The West Wing (NBC)

WHEN I GET AROUND TO IT:
Comedians of Comedy (Comedy Central)
American Dad (FOX)
House (FOX)
Las Vegas (NBC)
Grey's Anatomy (ABC)
Kitchen Confidential (FOX)
King of the Hill (FOX)
Stella (Comedy Central)
The Colbert Report (Comedy Central)
Drawn Together (Comedy Central)
X-Play (G4)
Numbers (CBS)

SCANNING FODDER:
Late Night with Conan O'Brien (NBC)
The Alternative (VH1 Classic)
Subterranean (MTV2)
CBS Sunday Morning (CBS)
Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO)

I've got several dramas on my "get to whenever" list. I think it's just that most dramas are 60 minute shows, so I'm less likely to immediately watch them, saving them for a slow evening. "House" is quite good -- I just watched the last two episodes of that last night.

I also confess that there are a few good serial dramas that I've not been watching on purpose, like "Battlestar Galactica", "Lost", and "24", preferring to catch up with these on DVD rather than during their network broadcast.
