I generally like Woody Allen films, but I've not really enjoyed his films since "Sweet and Lowdown". This afternoon, I went with friends to see "Match Point", his latest film, and I think its his best film since "Husbands and Wives". The film and the trailer are quite different, with the film taking a very classical story arc. By classical, I refer to Greek tragedy; the film is both straightforward and surprising, and it's well worth seeing for the performances of Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Scarlett Johansson. Recommended.
